What We Do

We carry out male circumcision for Religious, Cultural and Hygienic reasons.

 

The bulk of our practice is carried out on babies and children, but we do cover all age ranges.

 

In the newborn, it is advisable to carry-out circumcisions as soon as possible after birth, usually day 7 onwards. The sooner the better, and less uncomfortable for the child.

 

We offer a 21-day aftercare service. After the procedure parents and patients are given thorough post-operative guidance and encouraged to contact us with any concerns or questions they may have.

 

An initial consultation is offered, where detailed explanation of the procedure is given, and if deemed fit for circumcision, the operation will be done at the same visit. There is a £75 consultation charge if the patient is deemed unfit for surgery.

 

Medications, such as painkillers, are provided within the cost of circumcision, along with our worry-free 21-day aftercare service. 

 

Special clinics can be set up throughout the country on group bookings where apporpriate facilities are available. Please enquire.

Full Package Circumcision

  • We operate with a full circumcision service. We do not operate and just send you away.

  • In-depth and procedural information is given.

  • Pre-operative assessement is carried out prior to any surgery.

  • Circumcision is carried out under sterile conditions with all equipment being disposable and never used again .

  • Painkillers given thus no need to buy yourself.

  • In-depth aftercare instructions given.

  • Dedicated telephone aftercare with the doctor for any queries that you may have.

  • Post-operative follow-up at day-7 (or sooner if ring or clamp falls off).

  • Final follow-up at 21-days (optional) at no extra cost.

  • All procedures are carried our clinic in Portsmouth. Patients are required to attend the clinic at all times.

 

 

Safe and Sterile Procedure

  • The procedure is carried out from a local medical centre

  • Performed under sterile conditions.

  • Using only disposable instruments. No item is re-used. 

  • Safe and virtually painless procedure.

  • All equipment is disposable and disposed of if not used.

  • We operate from fully equipped minor operating rooms and would advise against home circumcision as all necessary equipment may not be readily available in case of an emergency.
